Bolton Schools - SLT & Maintenance Radios

CommTrack were contacted to provide licensed radio communication coverage to two local schools in Bolton, the radio requirement was for maintenance and the dedicated SLT staff. After conducting an onsite survey and a trial with a number of different models, the schools opted for a number of Motorola SL1600 DMR radios and a further batch of Hytera PD405 DMR radios. The DMR radios give additional voice clarity and a longer lasting battery, compared to analogue radios. Further information to follow.  

Paint Manufacturer - Warehousing Radios

The UK leading independant paint manufacturer required radio coverage in their Manchester warehouse. CommTrack met with the client and completed a radio coverage survey, this survey proved the radios did not require the additional infrastructure of a repeater. A selection of radios were left with the client for a two week trial, after the trial an order was placed with CommTrack for the Motorola SL1600 DMR radios along with earpieces and muilti-radio chargers. UK Mine Radio System

CommTrack were trusted to design, build, commission the mine radio system for one of the largest stone mines in the UK. The radio system which stretches for many kilometres underground utilises Motorola MOTOTRBO DMR technology. CommTrack bi-directional amplifiers were used on the project, along with Motorola DP4400 portable radios and Motorola SL5500 repeaters. Further information to follow. 

Tunnel Radio System 

Construction on Crossrail started in 2012, CommTrack have provided systems that include amplifiers, hand portable radios, radio repeaters, hundreds of radio repairs, as well as many hours of support underground. Our systems include the ability to talk on the surface by radios and telephones, include personnel tracking, and we also partner with the Schauenburg group on gas detection.
